Remote Post: Blogging @ the Barber

So here I am, waiting my turn at the coiffure, trying to test the portability of the blogging lifestyle. I’m typing attentively with my stylus, laboriously picking out the miniscule letters like a type-setter in a medieval press might have done.

My HTC is an improvement on the Nokia 9500 brick I lost in a cab in Singapore in March. However, it’s a step back in terms of my ability to easily compose or send notes on the fly. I have learnt the hard way that I need physical keys – too slow with the graphical one, and hopelessly dyslexic with the character recognition features.

I head out tomorrow for the third last stint at Fontainebleau. I am looking forward to experiencing again the cozy charms of that pretty little town. It is bizarre that I already have a vague sense of nostalgia about our early days there last November.

Also, this fork in the road motif seems to be popping up everywhere. Our first class on Monday is by Herminia Ibarra, on personal transitions!

Hair-drying sequence…signing off…
