Drove back from Fontainebleau today. Felt like I’d hit the wall by the time we got in, done in with the combined effects of a flu, a late night last night (SM’s event on a yacht on the Seine), and an almost 4 hour long drive back to Brussels. I would rate it as one of the best weeks we’ve had in the program. All our stints have been very rich and memorable thus far, but our recollection of them is somewhat sullied by that sting in the tail – the end of session exams every time we are there. This is the first time we have had no exams, as all that remains now are reflection papers and projects. There were loads of developments: learnings, insights, refined perspectives about some of the things that have been on my mind, and opening up of new avenues. But it’s all too fresh and too muddled in my fatigued brain for me to do any elaboration at this time. I will settle for a little visual almanac of the week. No Minervan contemplations today, but photos can cryogenically preserve memories for warmer analysis in the future.
